Hi all,
I was on FreeNAS 11.3-U5 but now upgraded to TrueNAS 12.0-U7
The SMB's I had setup were working perfectly fine with the root account till the upgrade, now I get this
After doing some investigation with other user accounts, ACL's, SMB settings etc, I noted that under the root user the Samba Authentication box isn't ticked like other users.
I tried to tick it but it says that the password must be changed,
so I change the password and it then says this
Any idea's how to fix this please? I need the root user with this access due to having several devices connected for iSCSI & SMB shares with all different permissions on datasets (the root account has access to it all)
