I have a home grown nas. Consists of a Asus M4A785? mainboard with an Athlon X4 955 and 16gb of ram. 5x1tb random spinning rust drives.
I had this running for years with Core on it. SMB shares just worked. My boot disk failed. I figured what a great time to install Scale and run some docker stuff.....
Did a clean install on a new boot disk, imported my data set. Created users in credentials. Added shares from my existing datasets. I can see them when I \\192.168.x.x to my truenas box. But when try to map them or access them I get a 0x80070043 "network name cannot be found" I have tried it from several Windows PCs in my office.
I have stripped the ACL's and removed the shares, re-added. I am unsure what I am missing. I have a scale box running at home and SMB shares just work there.
