SMB Share Not Accessible from Windows 10

I am running the latest version of TrueNAS Core on proxmox (also the latest version).

I created a new dataset from my pool and assigned a new TrueNAS user to it who had read/write permissions based on documentation and videos.

I assigned an SMB share to that dataset and made sure the share was enabled.

I only have one user (other than root) and the single share and the single pool. It is a very basic configuration.

When I go to my Windows explorer, TRUENAS shows up in the network view, but the SMB share does not appear under it as with other shares I have on a different file server. When I try to add a drive through Windows explorer using the \\TRUENAS\smbsharename, the credentials for the TrueNAS user I set up to have access to this share don't work.

Can someone please help me with the debugging process? I don't know what could be wrong as I thought I followed the documentation for doing this simple configuration closely and it mirrors what I have seen in videos on the subject.

Thanks.
