I am using TrueNAS-12.0-U8.1 with SMB shares setup when I copy over a 1GB media file (mkv) from my MacBookPro M1 to my TrueNAS and playback using either Emby or Plex I get dropped frames I thought it maybe the player but tried different ones same dropped frames.
I did a shasum on the source and the destination and the files have different checksums - hence the dropped frames I tried a NFS share same result I then used scp and the checksums where the same no dropped frames - result.
I tried all the options in https://www.truenas.com/community/threads/mov-files-corrupted-after-moving-to-nas-drive.90849/ still dropped frames
