Built my new NAS, got all excited, set it up and now its slow af
I get slow transfer speeds both too the server and from the server to my client.
Client is a full Gigabit enabled Win10 Client
Server is a full Gigabit enabled FreeNAS server - NIC is Intel Gigabit (intel i218-lm)
CPU - Pentium G4400
Memory - 2x8GB Crucial ECC
Mobo -Gigabyte Intel X150M PRO
Storage - 6 x 2TB RAIDZ2
FreeNAS 9.10.2
Transfer speeds sit at about 11.4MB/s
Tested by transferring about 150GB of Movies (So multiple 2-4GB files)
Ive tried new network cables and tried it via my switch and directly via router, nothing new, tried a few bits ive found on the forum to no luck.
Single share to access all of the datasets, so no conflicting shares i guess?
if you hadnt guessed already I am 100% new to all of this.
Let me know what you need to help
Thanks
