I searched around for a solution before posting and nothing I tried worked
I'm using FreeNAS-11.1-U4 on Intel Xeon CPU E3-1270 with 32GB ECC RAM. I have Samba enabled with 10 Windows (7 and 10) clients and I'm experiencing very slow transfer speeds from and to the server when using Samba. I ran iperf3 on the FreeNAS box and got these results
The network cards, cables, switches and router are all capable of Gigabit speed. The Samba configuration files doesn't have any additional configuration options (although I did try to add a few to see if they'll help, which they didn't)
