Severe issues with my hard drives

Hi,
I'm running a quite new NAS system (~60hours uptime) and I already have an issue with one hard drive, maybe even two. I receive warnings that one drive of my pool has encountered an unrecoverable error and when I checked this disk with smartd it also showed up some very bad values (raw_read_error_rate: 57675648, seek_error_rate: 309548, command_timeout: 201421, udma_crc_error_count: 16538), so my initial thought was that one of the two drives is damaged. But when I read the smartd results of the other drive that was always running without any complaints in FreeNAS, the error values where even higher (raw_read_error_rate: 122827296, seek_error_rate: 343053, command_timeout: 676, udma_crc_error_count: 700). I also don't know whether a spin up time for both disks of 0 ms is normal.
Right now I'm a bit confused because I don't know if the problem really has something to do with the drives or if the problem lies in another part. Any help is really appreciated...

You did not say which drives you have.........
But I guess Seagate :

This is a good start, but I would suggest that you review this guide to see the additional info it would be helpful to share when you have a question:

Without knowing what kind of drive you have, or what the details of the error are, it is difficult to give you any advice that is meaningful.

Here is a link to a troubleshooting guide that might help you decide if the error you have seen is significant:

Being new, does not preclude failure. Did you do any burn-in on the drives before you put data on them? Also, how many drives are we talking about? What pool configuration, mirror, RAIDz2, there are options and those options tell us if a single drive failure is a big deal or nothing to worry about.

It would be useful if you pasted the output here so we can see what the error actually is. You can use tags like the
to surround the text for clear formatting. Just be sure to end with the
tag to move to the next section of the post.

You can find a list of all the available formatting tags here: https://www.truenas.com/community/help/bb-codes/

Please post back with more information so we can be helpful.

At face value none of these are indicating a hard drive failure, at most I see that the UDMA_CRC_ERROR_COUNT could be indicating that you have a data cable issue, at some point in time, might have been a long time ago or just started. As @Chris Moore stated, read the forum rules and post more of your system configuration data and also post the FULL output of your SMART data, you have provided data out of context and expect someone to provide you intelligent and accurate help. I realize that you did just join the forum today but please understand that while some of us are really knowledgeable here, we also realize that people run different configurations, different hardware, problems could have some slight differences, all these little things add up. Also the more information you can provide us will allow everyone to help you get that system 100% operational again.

So welcome to the forums and looking forward to a more complete posting of data.

Cheers
