I am going to be replacing 2 of these 4 drives with new, higher capacity ones. (I currently have 1 vdev with 3 mirrors [6 drives]. These 4 drives represent two of the lower-capacity mirrors.)

Oh, this was happening because I was using "-A" instead of "-a". Figured it out on my own and started replacing drives, so no need to further belabor the issue. I'll leave everything here, though, so folks can see it in the future.

My ambient is 25c, and if you take a look at the case I'm using, it's doing well to cram in 6 drives; they're also all side-by-side. My temps increased with the addition of the 8tb Seagates, most likely because they are 7200rpm and power hungry. Sadly, there just aren't 5400rpm drives available in these capacities that have low enough (1/10^15) URE rates. Fortunately, the new WD Gold drives use less power than the seagates and also have an operating range up to 60c, so I expect I'll be OK (both resilient and hopefully running cooler by using less power). The only thing I could do is move to a large and better ventilated case or lower my ambient. Neither is super practical. If my temps turn out to get much higher I will probably have to change the case, even though I'd rather not.
