Send Email Alert - mb X10SL7-F

Hello,

I'm trying to setup email alert from IPMI and it did not work. I got it working for FreeNAS alert but not for the MB, X10SL7-F. What I want is getting email alert if there is any issue with my fans...

What I found weird is I cannot set smtp port with ipmitool, it set back to 209... I'm not an expert but it seems 209 is usually for qmtp not smtp.

I have tried using my isp email server and it did not work either.

Any Ideas?

Well I got it working with my www.mail.com email using SSL and port 587...

It does not work with gmail or my isp smtp server, I'm pretty sure there is an issue with port 465 with ipmi making non sticky to config.

I have sent an email to SuperMicro.
