TrueNAS-12.0-U4.1 alert email set for 'warning' and 'immediately' for failed SSH logins is sending the alert daily

TrueNAS-12.0-U4.1 alert email set for 'warning' and 'immediately' for failed SSH logins is sending the alert daily at midnight instead of immediately. Settings shown below. If I make a couple of (intentionally) failed SSH logins to my TrueNAS machine, I do not get an alert email, or alert in the webGUI until midnight (00:00) that evening/next day. I believe I have this setup correctly. Is this a bug?

Same thing here! I was literally wondering this today. I plan to upgrade to U5 which just came out and see if that happens to fix it

Let me know if that works for you. My system is down right now for some rework, and I won't be able to test/update for a week or so. If it's not fixed in U5, maybe we should open a ticket?

This is the same in U5. Reports are sent after midnight the next day even when set to "immediately"

My ticket has been updated. They are making some changes to the alert system on TrueNAS Scale, does not appear that they will be implementing in TrueNAS Core. As I look through the source code, it looks as though the alerts are actually not completely implemented. Not sure if we'll ever see this feature in Core (according to the devs).
