Hi. I've been trying out a few things before moving fully to Scale. I don't have discrete graphics, just an intel igpu. I naively assumed that choosing host passthrough for the cpu whilst creating a VM would let me have access to the cpu's quicksync features. I fear this might not be possible!? Hopefully, someone here can correct me :)
Scale can see the igpu. Output of ls -l /dev/dri shows card0 and renderD128, however in the Ubuntu VM only card0 is available. I know I can't passthrough the only gpu as the host needs one, and I know I could use quicksync through the apps but running docker in a vm would be a strong preference. Have I missed any configuration options or are apps the only way to go for single-gpu users? Thanks!
