Hello,
I would like to create a new small FreeNas in Japan.
I will just use 2 hard drive in raid 1 and have the possibility to add 2 mode for an upgrade later.
I was thinking about this hardware :
Asus P8H77I : http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/P8H77I/ (with 16Gb RAM)
Intel I3 3220T : http://ark.intel.com/products/65694/Intel-Core-i3-3220T-Processor-3M-Cache-2_80-GHz (35W TDP)
And the RED series from Western Digital (3Tb seem ok for me)
The problem is for the case :
I first was thinking about this little one CFI-A7879 : http://www.logicsupply.com/products/a7879
But in Japan we can easily have the temp which goes over 40ºC at home and the air conditioner is off when i go to work.
So I don't know if the only 120mm fan is ok ?
