I've created a guide and script for installing and configuring the QEMU Guest Agent on TrueNAS 13. It's based on FreeBSD 13's QEMU Guest Agent and VirtIO Console driver.

This guide offers straightforward, step-by-step instructions for both manual and automated installation. It's aimed at enhancing the functionality of TrueNAS in virtualized environments.

Thanks! Pretty good and straight forward script.

For the script to work, though, I just needed to update the qemu-guest-agent URL to qemu-guest-agent-8.2.1.

Hope next versions of TrueNAS to have more integrated way to add qemu-ga support.
