I noticed after updating Sab to 4.1.0 that the UI was showing in the config section that par2cmdline-turbo was not available.

Hmmm... sounds like something I could fix with pkg, I said to myself and promptly went to do that...

pkg install par2cmdline-turbo resulted in an installation of that pkg, but it also wants to remove par2cmdline ... and annoyingly also sabnzbd (due to dependency, I guess).

So... a solution:

pkg lock sabnnzbd

and then

pkg install par2cmdline-turbo

... and optionally

pkg unlock sabnzbd

gets to the right result of Sab still installed together with the -turbo version of par2.

Didn't it also remove the rc.d/sabnzbd file, it did for me?

I didn't observe that problem... since it's there due to the sabnzbd package, are you sure you locked that package?

OK, well go figure... I guess a reinstall of the pkg brings it back easy enough.

Problem is that when you do that it overwrites par2cmdline-turbo with the default par2cmdline o_O

and back to my initial post... hopefully doesn't remove the rc.d this time.
