I have just put together some new hardware to install the 64-bit version of FreeNAS 8.0.4 on. However, when trying to boot off of the CD I am receiving the message "Can't load 'kernel'". Does this mean my hardware is simply not supported?

The motherboard is an ASRock H61M/U3S3 with 8gb of RAM and four 2-Terabyte Seagate hard drives.

I am trying to replace a failing FreeNAS appliance and I am pretty desperate to get this working, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thank you.

After some fiddling I have found that the system will not boot from the CD when it is attached to the SATA-3 controller on the motherboard but when attached to the SATA-2 controller it appears to be booting now.
