I am trying to install 11.2 to a Dell R710. The BIOS does not support booting to a USB so I am booting to a CD. I followed the article to burn the ISO to a CD and used Win32 Disk Imager. I am incorrect in assuming that the ISO that I downloaded and burned is bootable?

The contents of the CD looks like this:

My boot sequence is set for the first device to be the optical drive, if I place any other bootable media in the optical drive, the system will boot to it. This leads me to confirm it is the ISO image file. I also looked at the article on how to create a bootable USB or CD and usually it requires an OS source when initially creating the media. But doesn't this get wiped out when you burn the ISO to the media?

Any help is appreciated.

Ok, I found another article which said to use Imgburn for writing the CD. I used it and and the CD is bootable. I am installing now.
