Hello Team,
I am new to FreeNAS and trying to install it. The issue I am having is that my system does not boot the ISO from either USB or DVD. Here are my system specs:
The processor does support 64-bit and the only thing that I can think of is the minimum 8GB RAM requirement. But I believe, the installer should still boot from either USB/CD.
Could you please help out? Thanks in advance for your time.
I am new to FreeNAS and trying to install it. The issue I am having is that my system does not boot the ISO from either USB or DVD. Here are my system specs:
- Intel Core i7-860 Processor 2.80 GHz 8M Total Cache 4 cores/8 threads
- Intel Q57 Express Chipset
- 4 GB Ram
- 250 GB HDD
- Win 10: Used Rufus to create a bootable from the downloaded ISO
- Mac High Sierra: Used the command line utility to create bootable USB
- Win 7: When none of the above worked, burned the ISO to DVD. I had to burn it to DVD as the ISO is over 700 MB
