microserver? I use the HP Microserver which has ipmi! Does your Server have IPMI? (the old HP gen.7 IPMI-Boards have problems with FreeBSD, but on the newer gen.8 an FreeNAS-9.3 you don't even need to load impi.ko, just type
# ipmitool lan print
)
On 9.3 the config is stored on a zfs boot filesystem an the usb-stick; not on your data-pool which you created with the volume manager.
PS:
1. I would: Go and get a Monitor
2. Insert a new USB-Stick and FreeNAS-Install-CD (9.2.1.x)
3. Install 9.2.1.x
4. Upload Config
5. Remove all /boot/loader.conf-Parameter from the config (disable autotune?)
6.a. Try to Upgrade to 9.3
6.b. Wait: as there are a lot of people have the same problem, the guys from IX-Systems will the Problem, i think.
