Plugin to play music from soundcard in freenas box?

Hi, and Hello to everyone..

Ive been using freenas for a while now, with raidz 5x2tb drives, 8gb ram.
my server sits in my shed, and i want to connect a usb soundcard to it, and connect the soundcard to my external speakers in my garden so i can play music outside.

Ive been looking at mpd, this seems to be the solution, but i cannot get it to install or work.
I also have found a .pbi which installs, but doesnt function.

I was wondering is there another plugin to allow me to play music direct from the freenas server, and control it via a phone/web/tablet? or is there a way todo it...

or has anyone managed to-do what i need?

Pretty sure none of the audio drivers needed are included in FreeNAS. Sorry. :(
