Plugin: Emby doesn't work on 11.1-x

Hi,

The Emby plugin was installed successfully, created the jail, and the plugin.. But the plugin itself doesn't want to run. it says:

Jan 19 18:22:49 storage kernel: pid 64337 (mono-sgen), uid 989: exited on signal 6

It was working just fine on 11.0-x, but it doesn't on 11.1-x (11.1-RELEASE and 11.1-U1) whether FreeNAS was upgraded from previous versions or freshly installed!

I thought it was a bug in 11.1-RELEASE, but the issue remains on 11.1-U1

So, does anyone have same issue with Emby on 11.1-x ?
And how to fix this??

Ok, that's good news.. It means that it can easily be fixed

the question now is... how to troubleshoot my issue with Emby then ?

I'm experiencing the same issue, however on FreeNAS-11.0-RELEASE (a2dc21583) on an HP DL380 G7. I've installed the four latest releases from emby-3.2.7-amd64 up. Everything installs and gets created fine, but the plugin won't start. I've installed each version a couple of time and twice the plugin showed it was running but actually was not. Anyone getting anywhere with this.

P.S. I'm also running the Plex on the same server.

I noticed the "Collection URL" in Jails->Configuration has this value:

http://download.freenas.org/latest/RELEASE/x64/jails

But when I open that URL in browser it gives me Not found page (404).
Could that be the issue's reason?

PS: I can't even install any plugin. It gives me a huge error

And which FreeNAS version it is

and try to install new emby plugin?

Yes. HDDs are just fine

I've even tried to create new jails dataset in different pool... same issue !!!

I can install plugins. Everything works.

Maybe NETWORK issue?

If I open collection URL then I see also error page but it installs and downloads jails.

GOOD POINT .. I have my FreeNAS running via VPN... let me see.

Nope! That didn't help!!
I tried to turn off VPN and Squid. but the issue still there!

any other suggestions ?

Ok, I found that the Jails sub-dataset

Code:

.warden-template-pluginjail

was missing. and I found this one instead:

.warden-template-pluginjail-11.0-x64

So, I've completely removed the Jails dataset and recreate it again.. Then I was able to install the plugins..

But again "Emby" is still complaining about "mono-sgen" and refuses to start the plugin, although its jail is working fine!!

Any help guys??
