Plex Fail

Hi all,

Long time reader, first time poster. I hope you can help.

Some time ago I installed plex server on my Truenas system (TrueNAS-12.0-U1 ) and it worked just fine until the recent few days where it has disappeared.

I have had a few dramas and am not sure if they are related or not

1. My GFX card shat a fan bearing and over heated crashing the system last weekend. I threw in a new card and it seems to be working fine
2. Ran out of drive space. Once again I deleted some stuff, free'd up 400gb and once again everything seems to work fine.

First I noticed the plugin wasn't starting when I was out of space - (Github error) but now it starts fine with the cleared space.

When I click manage it opens to a new window but says it cannot be reached (used to work just fine). I can ping the ip address just fine though. Obviously none of my devices can access the server either.

Any help is appreciated.

Please post your system specs in order to get some good advice on your path forward. I'm concerned that you stated you freed up 400GB of storage space and all was working well again. 400GB is not much space and if you are practically maxed out for storage capacity, you are looking at a few bottlenecks as well. So post what system you are using, RAM capacity, Hard drives and how those are configured, etc. More is better and someone will be happy to offer you some sound advice.

And Welcome to the Forums!

Thanks Joe,

Specs are as follows:
Amd FX-6300 Six Core processor
32 GB Ram
4 x 3 tb HDD storage RaidZ1.

I'm sure there are bottlenecks but it is what it is for the moment. I'm planning a major rebuild later this year but have other priorities first.
