Alright so I updated plex with the update button in the GUI, and the plugin wouldn't start so I got to googling, I found the /var/log/messages which said it was exiting with signal 15.
I tried to research the exit code but all I found was someone who had to change the ownership of /var/db/plexdata back to the plex user (I did the media user).
This obviously didn't work since i'm posting here.
I also tried to do the PMS_Updater, also didn't work.
At this point I am considering just deleting and starting over again. (anyone know how to transfer the data (playlists, thumbnails ect.) ?)
