Owncloud V6.01 to 6.02 OwnCloud updater not working

I used the packaged Owncloud V6.01 - I had to backup - then delete my old V5 Owncloud to get this to install.

Now I get the yellow bar at the top of Owncloud telling me to update.

I go to the update centre and the update then errors:
Upgrade is not possible. Make sure that your webserver has write access to the following files and directories:
/usr/pbi/owncloud-amd64/owncloud/3rd party

and lists lots of files / directories

the last line error is:
The Update was unsuccessful.

I see the idea of using the updater as the BEST WAY of upgrading.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Post the output of ls -l /usr/pbi/owncloud-amd64/owncloud/3rd\ party

I'm assuming this directory exists? If so, you need to correctly escape the space with a \ when running this command. It is probably easier to use tab to fill it in for you (e.g. when you get to /usr/pbi/owncloud-amd64/owncloud/3r press tab and it will fill it in for you.

what you are asking does not exist - I don;t think I am doign anything wrong - unless its hidden?
