Hi all ,

First of all forgive for my bad English.

I have a Nas of Qnap TVS-863, that I do not want it anymore, I am arto of its pesimo software and that in each update things stop working.

The last one has been that I have lost data and half of things do not work, so I bought a hardware, for freenas.

I commented what I valued, after reading the forum.

Supermicro X11SSH-LN4F
Intel Xeon E3-1230 V6 3.5 GHz Socket 1151 Boxed - Procesador
Kingston kvr21r15s4/16 16 GB DDR4 ValueRAM ECC CL15 ( valorating put a 32GB)
Seasonic SSR-550FX
Fractal Design Define R5 Negro
6 x HDs is WD RED WD4001FFSX- of 4TB ( are inserted in QNAP)
2 x SSD Samsung EVO 850 ( cache)

Is correct this configuration for migrate to my qnap to Future FREENAS?

The usefel is:

ISCSI
Plex
FileServer
FTP, Webserver, Backups

------------------------------------------------------------------
Actually i had a ESXI 6.7 in Ryzen for 6 VMs, ti have valorating put ESXI in new config , and put FREENAS in ESXI is possible?

Thx

You should have asked for advice first. Good luck.

You mostly likely won't be able to use your 850 for cache, consider a all flash pool

I hope you didn't already buy this without asking questions first. Cache in FreeNAS does not work the way you probably expect it to work.
