I am a new user so if you can please explain in detail what I need to provide it would be most helpful.
I have installed FreeNAS on to a spare computer that I have to begin to gain an understanding of have the OS operates. I plan on adding a FreeNAS to my home network to provide extra storage and back up drives.
I have read through most of the rules and posting requirements but if i make a mistake please point it out to me.
So when ever i try to add a CFIS to the FreeNAS service using the Web GUI the server give me the following error and locks up
NMI . . . going to debugging
Here is the set up I am using
I have a 1U server with SuperMicro X6DVA-EG with 1 Western Digital 250 GB HD and 4 GB of Ram
http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/Xeon800/E7320/X6DVA-EG.cfm
I understand that i do not need that much hard drive and will make finally adjustments in my permanent system.
Please advise what files or logs I need to up load for your viewing pleasure
Thank you for having this forum and for allowing me to use it to resolve my system issues.
