Has anyone tested if 6.7 update 3 includes the NFS API patch for the embedded host client? (Easiest test: can you delete a file or folder from the datastore browser that has type NFS41?)

ESXi 6.7 with update 3 (Build: 14320388) still showing the same symptoms (not able to delete a folder).

Guess I don't need to be in a hurry to update then. IIRC ESXi is not properly handling reclaim_complete fs with nfs 4.1

I think it was this post where I got that the underlying ESXi NFS API was patched (which seems to be confirmed by NFS working from CLI but not the GUI) but that said patch needed to be separately applied to the embedded host client.

Unfortunately there haven't been any new embedded host client flings in almost a year. Prior to that seemed to release one every 2-6 months. OH! This looks to be the comment confirming the bug information.
"We have actually already had this reported and the issue has been resolved in the host agent daemon. Unfortunately it's not just a client side issue. The fix will be included in a future patch of ESXi." June 28, 2018

Vmware thread on it is quite dead https://communities.vmware.com/thread/584211

Thanks
I can mount the NFS datastore R/W but it fails after a while - guess something else at play
