New Harddrives - Badblock Error

Hello,

My new Harddrives arrived this week, and I tried to run Badblocks on them. But on one Harddrive I got errors after ~30h.

Is this something i should be concerned of? There are no SMART Errors on this Drives!

you're not supposed to get any errors - i'd replace it

Agreed, if the drive is throwing errors, it is either bad or there is some connectivity problem.

The point of running bad blocks is to find the errrors early so you can replace the drive easily before finding the issue when the drive is in production.

It should be covered by warranty etc.
