Recommendations on whether this drive should be RMA'd? This is the first time I've ever run these tests. Thoughts/recommendations from the more experienced crowd would be greatly appreciated.

After a night of running "badblocks" on eight WD 3TB drives, one of my drives is showing read errors. The badblocks ongoing test looked like this:

set_o_direct: Inappropriate ioctl for devices)
9608032 done, 7:12:11 elapsed. (27/0/0 er
9608033 done, 7:12:15 elapsed. (28/0/0 er
9608034 done, 7:12:18 elapsed. (30/0/0 er
set_o_direct: Inappropriate ioctl for device
set_o_direct: Inappropriate ioctl for devices)
9609704 done, 7:12:29 elapsed. (31/0/0 er
set_o_direct: Inappropriate ioctl for devices
. . . more stuff that I accidentally overwrote
58.62% done, 10:45:06 elapsed. (32/0/0 errors)

The console is also showing multiple Error 5, unretryable error on drive da5. For example:

Error 5, Unretryable error
READ(10). CDB: 28 00 01 25 36 c6 00 00 02 00
CAM status: SCSI Status Error
SCSI status: Check Condition
SCSI sense: MEDIUM ERROR asc:11,0 (Unrecovered read error)
Info: 0x12536c6

Here's the output from smartctl -a /dev/da5:

Thanks for the advice. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't jumping to conclusions!

It wouldn't hurt to do a long SMART test on it to see what happens... a failed SMART test will make your RMA process easier:
smartctl -t long /dev/da5

Let it run however long it says it will, then:
smartctl -a /dev/da5

Thanks! I'll do that now. It's predicting 399 minutes to complete. Patience . . . , patience . . .

I did RMA the drive after testing. NewEgg took it back for refund without argument. Installed the new drive yesterday and just completed the first badblocks pass with no errors. So nice to see a quiet console screen with no errors popping up. 14 hours to complete the first pass, so I'll leave it alone for a couple of days. Thanks for the advice.
