This is my configuration:

igb0 - Physical connection - No assigned IP
-vlan70 - 192.168.70.7
-vlan71 - Bridge interface for VM, no IP address
-vlan74 - 192.168.174.2

Upon reboot, I must go into the remote console and issue an ifconfig igb0 down && ifconfig igb0 up before FreeNAS starts switching packets.

This is clearly not working as intended. I'm trying to determine if this is a configuration issue or if this a bug. Any guidance is appreciated.

Is this on 11.1-U2? If so, create a report at bugs.freenas.org containing the above info and post the issue number here.

If not, try updating and let us know if that resolves the problem.

For completeness, please also describe your hardware, and also the switch being used.
