Good day,
Need some help with S3 service setup. I follow the documentation on Docs Hub.
pretty much have everything with default setup port 9000 and console port 9001.

so it there any reason that when I hit the truenas ipaddress:9000

it re-direct me to the minIO console page with user name and password login and the address is truenas ipaddress:9001

Isnt it suppose to hit the minIO web browser's page?

Really… ok I am work with that.
Thank you

Second question, if you don't mind...
I have open my router's firewall port 9000/9001 toward the truenas internal ip. I can access the S3 MinIO console page.
login/upload/download all working great.
but

The share link that this S3 service generate... its looking at 0.0.0.0

Where I can edit/fix so it will give out the WAN IP?

Sorry, it's not possible to change this IP to a WAN IP, as it has to be one of your TrueNAS system's interface IPs. TrueNAS wouldn't know about your router's WAN IP.

Well that sux...
I dont feel comfortable put nas expose to wan directly and IMO no one ever should ...

ain't worth the risk for hosting S3 service if things need to be this way.

Thanks.

Reverse proxy s3.yourown.domain to port 9000 and console.s3.yourown.domain to port 9001
