I'm about to buy ML10 with E3 1225v5, but I'd like to do some checking before final decision.

- I plan to use 5 disks, is it necessary to buy HP's kit to fit the 5th disk, or can it be fixed without it? Are sata power cables standard?
- is there enough airflow or should I buy some extra fan (is there any extra space for it?)
- I will have to buy an active DP-VGA dongle for monitor, but I'm also considering used graphic card, is there any downside to this option (like extra heat)?
- I'm going to add 16gb ram to existing 8gb, is there a list of working and tested compatible sticks? I have a lot different information about this issue.

I have the ML10 Gen9 as well, with the i3-6100. I am using one (1) SSD, and four (4) HDDs. The SSD is just velcro-ed in place, and the HDDs are in the existing bays, the ODD remains in place. I picked up a 1 SATA to 4 SATA power splitter for the extra drives, and it uses standard SATA data cables (I believe the 6th SATA connector is a shared data+power for the ODD). Five HDDs should fit in the existing bays, the expansion kit is for the power and data cable extensions, I believe.
The maintenance and service guide should have all the diagrams and such...
