Hi everyone,
I'm currently running FreeNAS-9.10.2-U5 and using a bhyve VM to run a Ubuntu Server. Prior to updating to U5 yesterday, everything was working fine, but now I'm having network connectivity issue within the guest OS (can't seem to have access to internet anymore, even if the bridge and the tap seems to be properly configured).

My understanding about bhyve in FreeNAS 9.10 is that it was in beta, so perhaps, something has been broken in U5 that's causing the issue. I believe that in FreeNAS 11, bhyve is now fully supported and even comes with UI to do the configuration. Is that correct? Is this still the same bhyve version running in FreeNAS 11? Will my VMs be migrated (is there even a migration to do)?

Also, how is the jump from 9.10.2-U5 to FreeNAS 11? I've followed the Corral debacle from afar and I'm not sure whether or not it's worth jumping to FreeNAS 11 right now just to (potentially) fix this problem.

Thanks!

Did you try the upgrade to 11? If so, did it resolve this issue?
