I have been looking though the manual for 9.10.2-U1 and there is a section that references the manual update being a possibility again; http://doc.freenas.org/9.10/system.html#manual-updates, Section 5.8.5.
After looking through the download pages on the freenas website, https://download.freenas.org/9.10/STABLE/9.10.2-U1/, all I see here is a .tar file. A previous point in the documentation, http://doc.freenas.org/9.10/install.html#upgrading, Section 2.1 claims that there should be a ".GUI_Upgrade.txz: this is a compressed firmware upgrade image."
Is this an error or is this file named something else?
I have tried the .tar file (https://download.freenas.org/9.10/STABLE/9.10.2-U1/) and the .debug.txz file (https://download.freenas.org/9.10/STABLE/9.10.2-U1/x64/) along with their respective checksums with no success. It seems that when I do so, I get the console message:
"Jan 16 14:01:42 freenas notifier: rm: /var/tmp/firmware: Device busy"
I have tried to remove and unmount that device manually and have not been successful.
Has anyone been able to perform the manual upgrade from 9.3.1 to 9.10.2-U1?
Thank you!
