After upgrading to 12.0-U8.1. None of my users that are on different windows domain. Can't map the network share on the TrueNAS server any more. When they try to map the drive from within windows. It will show the share, and ask for user name and password. When they type the user name and password that worked before. It will just keeps popping back asking for user name and password. Not sure what to do to fix this issue. I did have the users log into the TrueNAS management console and change their password. That also did not work. Any help would be great. Thank you in advance.

I lost my SMB share as well but on Linux (please be easy on me, I am new to linux). '
The share links are the same but I get an error when trying to open them. I have restarted my server 4 times now.

You mean FreeNAS 8? That is beyond obsolete and there is close to zero hope of migrating a config that old when it comes to SMB, things have just changed too much.

No 12.0-U8.1

U8.1 does not work
U8.0 does not work
SMB shares did work before the upgrade to U8.1.

I apologize for the confusion.
