Looking for Upgrade

I'm looking to upgrade to newer hardware because I've been having some issues with mine. Most notably half the ram is no longer recognized due to "MemTest errors" which is strange for all those sticks to go bad at once and I'm thinking it's actually a CPU issue. I was thinking it might be nice to get something a bit newer, and more energy efficient, that I could get started with on TrueNAS SCALE so that I can make migrating easier in the long run.

I'm currently running a Dell C2100 build with:
2x Intel Xeon E5640
72GB DDR3 ECC RAM - 8x8 + 2x4 sticks (due to another weird memory issue I had initially)
Dell Mezzanine SAS adapter - crossflashed to HBA mode
A dual port QSFP+ Melanox card

I'm not aching for that much more power or anything but ZFS would probably enjoy being able to use 72GB of RAM again and I had some things like a Minecraft server that I stopped running because it was eating memory.

Ideally I'd find a newer ex-enterprise gear that is somewhat loaded up so I don't have to build a system completely from scratch but I'd be willing to if I new I was going to have a better experience.

Something like a Supermicro X9DRi might be an option. It works with DDR3 ECC RDIMMs and if your memory sticks are compatible, you could just re-use them.

Looks somewhat promising, I see a few on ebay for a reasonable price. I'll add it to my list of candidates and check it out more deeply.

I'm currently on my deep dive. Is there an easy well of telling which chassis support the 2.5 inch bays in the rear? It looks like without that, I'd have to eat up regular bays for my OS drives; I'm not particularly fond of that idea.

EDIT: I should've mentioned I was looking at the 2Us since they seemed the most reasonable for my humble setup with only 6 pool drives.
