Hi,

I've got a new FreeNAS build which runs flawlessly. But I just received an error message email from the daily security run:

Code:
pid 5035 (mono-sgen), uid 989: exited on signal 6

Is there some place where I can research what this means? Or can someone give me a tip here?

How about some system specs? What version of FreeNAS are you running too would be a big help.

Google worked for me. I didn't know what this message meant until I did a quick search, took about 5 seconds to cut and paste into Google. You have two things to look up, what "mono-sgen" is and what "exited on signal 6" means. Unfortunately if you were looking for some specific answer on why it happened and how to keep it from happening again, well we can't provide that without more information.

FreeNAS-9.10.1 (d989edd)
I guess you are a minimalist.

If you cannot provide a listing of hardware, plugins/jails, basic setup info, then you are going to be left hanging. We can't help if you don't share the info we need.

The hardware seems fine in spite of not being ECC RAM, that would not have an effect on the message you received.
