Hi all,

I'm not able to get a stable Jellyfin server to work.
I even reinstalled proxmox and TrueNas to have a clean system, but nothing helps. After a short period of time Jellyfin App stops working for some reason. I'm using the App from Truenas Community.

Here are some logs and stuff maybe someone could help? What am I doing wrong?

In the log you can see, I started the App and created a User at 11:29:48 At 11:34:31 it was already offline and I wanted to login again. the Error message is:

[ERR] [18] Jellyfin.Server.Middleware.ExceptionMiddleware: Error processing request. URL POST /Users/authenticatebyname.

Before tha event a lot of other errors occur and I have no idea why.

Thanks in advance

Best regards
Kriggx

Okay guys I played araound a little....During installation I chose my own place for the config files like you can see here:

HostPath.png

Within a new installation i left the config files to be automatic in IX Systems like you can see here:

ixVolume.png

That seemed to work.

Don't know why, but something did not work for my own defined storage path for config files. Maybe this will help somebody else.

I saw one error in your log where it attempted to write to a read only database (sqlite).

If changing the paths from yours to the default works, then I'd guess a permission issue? I can't recall my exact jellyfin setup but more than likely I used the default paths. I followed a video I had found on youtube. Haven't had any crashes and its been running since last year.

Actually, I just came across this and it might be the issue you have: https://www.truenas.com/community/t...truenas-folder-sqlite-database-locked.110092/
They also changed their config to local to fix it.
