Maybe should you plug your keyboard in ?

Try a different port, a different keyboard....

No that doesnt work I can get to the screen where I select the drive but I can't pick one its almost as if it mapped my keyboard wrong
Use the space bar to select a menu item.

I've also relaunched it countless times and it keeps coming with the same issue I've tried doing it from USB and from a CD

These are the keys that allow me to select ok (7,Q,Y,I,A, and space bar) also if I do (U+I and H+J) It also selects ok but (G+H) Moves it from ok to cancel

space bar should check the box for your disk when it's highlighted.

Perhaps you should tell us something about the box you are booting up to install FreeNAS on - the motherboard, processor, memory, drives, etc., also how you made the USB and the CD.

Oh, and "the box" isn't a virtual machine on another OS, is it?

I don't know that my questions are going to help but this is a very unusual situation.

It is an asrock b75m motherboard I dont remember the CPU but it is an i7
It has 8 gigs of ddr3 and a 1tb Toshiba and a 4tb Seagate and a 250gb western digital blue
And I made the CD off of my main computer with poweriso to burn it to the CD and it's on a actual machine not a VM

Ok I got it to work I found an old Dell keyboard and tried it and it worked. Moral of this all is that freenas does not like booting with corsair keyboards
