Import Hard Drives

I am sort of new to free nas..Only ran a few times and I know this is prob a simple problem...I had a free nas pc running for about 3 years and the pc died. Bad motherboard. It only had 2 500gb hd's. My question is if I install free nas on a new pc can I "import" these 2 disk that have data on them with out reinitializing a RAID and wiping the disk?

Depends...

Are your drives configured as ZFS or UFS? If UFS then you will need to use the same old version of FreeNAS that you were previously using. If you are not using UFS then the answer is clearly Yes.
