i only can access nas though local network

As you should: TN is not meant to be exposed to outside network. If you want to do so, however, you can do in different ways (but the only secure ones are ssh and vpn tunnelling); anyway, you have to open a port in your modem's firewall, which is not suggested.

What about VPN setting in truenas?
