I know - FreeNAS is not meant to work with ndis or wlan or most USB-To-Ethernet devices.. But I have no pcie-slot left in my build and I want to add an "USB-C 3.1 to 5GBASE-T Ethernet Adapter" from TrendNet. There are drivers, but I can not load them. On my freebsd test-build I was able to use it with ndis.

How can I build ndis with freenas kernel?
Or should I move to an other bsd or linux if I want to use those kind of HW?
