Hi There...
Long time Linux nut - use it a lot on my home PC setup..
Was until recently using as my home server OS but needed something more robust so needed RAID and ZFS looked interesting.
And by all accounts freenas looks to be the simplist, fastest way to go about this.
Just realising the differences between BSD and Linux, so hoping you guys can steer me in the right direction and I hope I can return the favour later on.
Just finished my new NAS build.. Now just to get the software up and running
I plan to run FreeNAS with Squeezeboxcenter, Torrent client (prob. rtorrent), web server (for roksbox) and CIFS server.

CPU i7-860
8 GB Memory
4x 2TB WD Green Sata-2 64Mb cache drives
ATI 5450 Grfx Card (just needed something for debug/bring up)
