How do I get Pihole official to work? (not TrueCharts)

I installed Pihole from the Official repository successfully, and I can log into the admin panel.

However, I can only make DNS requests when SSH'ed into my TrueNAS box - if I'm attempting to make a request to the DNS server from any other device, it doesn't seem to be able to get a route through.

What additional setup (DNS? iptables? routing?) is necessary so that other devices can query Pihole?
