Kevin, you are going to need to give us more info that this.

1) What have you tried to do to correct the situation?

2) What exactly are you doing (be very clear becasue otherwise we make assumptions and get things all wrong and fail to give you good quick advice)?

3) What gave you the error message, FreeNAS?

4) And please follow our forum rules and post your system specs.

Based on what you did provide my first suggestion is to try to copy the suspect files to a hard drive, not an SD card. SD cards can be flaky at times. So first ensure it's an actual FreeNAS issue and not something else.

3) my computer gave me the error message
Then this is likely not a FreeNAS issue. But if you find out it appears to be a FreeNAS issue, please post some more information and we will try to offer you some assistance.

4) He's telling you to provide your FreeNAS System Specs...

What he is also telling you is that you should try to copy to your COMPUTER'S HARD DRIVE, before copying over to your SDCard, to understand where the error is ACTUALLY generating from. Please understand that we cannot read minds, and cannot know what your setup is unless you share that information with us. If you want help, you need to take a few minutes to provide info.

Copying files from any type of NAS is most likely never an issue for The NAS. Things like file permissions may be more close to the problem. But you are stating SDCArd which is something that constantly acts up as you move it from device to device.

If there's is anything on the SDCard you wanna keep you should copy it wherever you can first then format the sdcard them put it back.

I have done the hacked Wii thing before & I dealt with having to do that several times to get the darn sdcard working between PC to Wii.
