Hi All. I woke up this morning to an email from my TrueNAS system reporting the following:
Code:
New alerts:
* Pool NASPOOL01 state is ONLINE: One or more devices has experienced an unrecoverable error. An attempt was made to correct the error. Applications are unaffected.

I ran zpool status -v and got the following:
Code:
  pool: NASPOOL01
 state: ONLINE
status: One or more devices has experienced an unrecoverable error. An
attempt was made to correct the error. Applications are unaffected.
action: Determine if the device needs to be replaced, and clear the errors
using 'zpool clear' or replace the device with 'zpool replace'.

I ran glabel status and found that it was drive ada3. So then I ran smartctl -a /dev/ada3 and got the following:

At this point the extent of my ability to read SMART data is basically "yup those are numbers". Would someone be able to check the SMART info and see if I need to look into replacing that drive or if I can just run a zpool clear on it and keep an eye on that drive for a bit?

Thanks for any help!

SMART data looks fine (but note that regular short and long test are not being run...)

CHKSUM errors are often associated with cable/connection issues. I suggest that you carefully reseat the connections for the data cable to the drive and monitor the situation for further reports - if you get another then replace the cable.

Thanks for the quick assist! Short and long tests should be ran regularly. I'll have to check my smart tasks when I'm off work.

I've had issues with the ports on this MoBo before, so not surprised if it's a port being flaky. Working on building a new server soon.

Thanks again!
