Hello Everyone. Let me start with saying that English is my second Language. Sorry for all the misstakes in advance.
I am about to build my first TrueNAS system. It will be basicly a Fileserver for Movies, Music and Pictures. The one question i have left is about the HDD Setup.
I have 2x 3TB Drives and 1x 2TB Drive. Should i buy a second 2TB Drive/third 3TB drive? Safety is more important then usable diskspace for me. Or can i buy a much larger drive (like 10TB) and use that for now in something like Raid-z2? I know that i will loose much capacity for now but i will swap those drive out in future anyway. Any Tips would be great.
