Hey,

Been running the latest stable Freenas 10 (haven't upgraded to 11 yet) on a 32 gig ecc xeon on a Supermicro x10sl7-F with the built in Lsi 2308 flashed to the correct bios for 10 (I forget the exact lsi, 16?)

Have 4, 4 TB drives in striped mirrors. Been working flawless, and still is but have been getting some write errors as pasted in below. The errors were at 6, cleared them, didn't see anything for a few months. Now at 9 on a drive.

Checking status of zfs pools:
NAME SIZE ALLOC FREE EXPANDSZ FRAG CAP DEDUP HEALTH ALTROOT
freenas-boot 232G 3.38G 229G - - 1% 1.00x ONLINE -
tank 7.25T 5.76T 1.49T - 45% 79% 1.00x ONLINE /mnt

pool: tank
state: ONLINE
status: One or more devices has experienced an unrecoverable error. An
attempt was made to correct the error. Applications are unaffected.
action: Determine if the device needs to be replaced, and clear the errors
using 'zpool clear' or replace the device with 'zpool replace'.

Should I replace the drive? What steps can I take to check to see if the drive is still "OK?" This should be an HGST Coolspin 4TB drive that is less than a year old. I ran full HD tests before I installed the 4 drives and everything came back clean about 10 months ago.

Thanks, my first Freenas box and was looking to upgrade it to 11, but wanted to make sure the drive is ok first.

Thanks for any pointers.

Karim
