Hello,
I am trying to be a new user, but am having problems installing.
I downloaded the 32 bit version of 8.2.0-RC1 to CD-ROM, successfully booted via CD, succesfully copied to a 4GB Micro Cruzer USB Stick.
When trying to boot from the USB stick it seems to hang. I get the following messages
F1 FreeBSD
F2 FreeBSD
F5 Drive 1
F6 PXE
Boot:F1
\
(it hangs here for about 5 mins or more) then
error 128 lba 2579027048
FreeBSD/x86 boot
Default: 0:ad(0,a)/boot/kernel/kernel
boot:
error 128 lba 135
No/boot/kernel/kernel
FreeBSD/x86 boot
Default: 0:ad(0,a)/boot/kernel/kernel
boot:
(hanging again here this is about 20 mins after trying to boot)
The Dell 530 was running 32bit Vista, and has 2 Hard drives on it.
The BIOS is up to date. I don't know what motherboard it has
Any ideas anyone ?
Thanks in advance
