I'm trying to install FreeNAS 9.2.1.8 on a system with the specs below. I am installing from a CD and can't get it to work on a thumb drive. I have installed it on a hard disk and it works the first time. It also takes more than 10 minutes to install to thumb drive. Here is the error that I get:

error 1 lba 181344
error 1 lba 181344
No /boot/loader

FreeBSD/x86 boot
Default: 0:fd(0,a)/boot/kernel/kernel
boot:

I tried it on another thumb drive and I get the following:

Woefully inadequate hardware - nothing else is to be expected. nForce chipsets are pure evil and have no business in anything remotely critical, much less a server.

I recommend you read the hardware sticky.
There's not much hope for your current setup, and even if you get it to work, it's barely enough to use UFS - which is effectively deprecated and unusable in FreeNAS 9.3.
