Hello,

I've created an FTP server with the directory pointing inside my SMB share called "data". I can send and download files just fine using FileZilla.

However, when I go to view the shared SMB directory "data" I can't seem to view the content I have uploaded via FTP.. How can I see my FTP files inside my shared SMB folder?

This one has really got me confused, I have tried many different methods with no luck.

P.S I am using a windows machine to access the SMB shares.

I've created a temp user called data with full permissions on the SMB share. He is also the FTP user.

I am fairly new to FreeNAS so I wouldn't be surprised if I screwed something up.

with full permissions on the SMB share
So he is the owner of the dataset shared as SMB and as the root of ftp service? Are you saving on the same path? If 'Always Chroot' is ticked when you connect through ftp you are redirected to the users home share and not the root of ftp service.
